This matter was re- ferred to the Airport Committee for investigation. Mr, Robt Troxell, representing the Idaho T'gg Producers was present and presented an application for vacating a certain portion of Albany Street. It wss moved by Fresh -r, sec b­ Olesen t' the rules requiring that the reading of a Bill on three separate days be suspended and Bill No 6, be read the second time by title and the third tiros in full, section by section and placed on its final passage. Those voting in the negative. None. A bsent and not voting: None. The Mayor declared the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No S the second time by title and the third time Ain full, section by section. The Mv7or directed the Clerk tocall the roll on the n;ove question which r- =sulted as follows: Those noting in the affirmative were: Sloop, Newman, Olesen, Finek, Thornock and Fresher. Those voting in the negative were: None: Absent and not voting: None. Thereupon the Mayer declared Bill No 6 had passed and the Mayor n open session duly signed and approved the Bill, and the Clerk duly signed and sttestsd the same which became Ordinance No 631. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance No 631, to be published in the Caldwell -News Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, JANUAFY 17th., 1044, 8 :OC P. !% The Council met on Call of the Vayor with the Mayor. Thurlov: Bryant presiding. On Roll Call the following Co answered present: J. Randall Sloop, Pete Clasen, F. E. Nev=n n, 0. L. = hornock, and E. P. ?'rasher. The Mayor informed the Council this was the time set for hearing protests against the vacating of a portion of Albany Street as setforth in Ordinance 631. The Mayor asked if there was anyone present who desired to be heard on the matte of vacating a portion of Albany Street. No protests were entered against the vacation of a portion of Albany Street. Kimbroulh requeatod the City to clean up the Red cross Re Room. The Mayor referred t':is matter to Councilman Nevan n.
