Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Griffiths presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Addme, Sardeley, Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh., presemt; Shorb, Clerk. A letter from J. H. Causey & Co, relative to refunding the city's warrant indebtedness, was read. filed. Report of the librarian was read and, on motion of Walker, approved and orders➢ Mr. Kraft appeared before the council and asked to know what will be done with the street grade around the high school ground, whereupon the clerk was instructed to notify the property owners and ti.e school board of an informal meeting of the council at the city hall Monday, January 22, 1912, at a p. m., to consider the grade around the high school grounds. Bill No. li, entitled, "An Ordinance amending ordinance No. 103 'An Ordinance to provide for the regulation of the City Cemetery and the conveyance of lots therein and to provide for the appointment of a sexton and to define his duties and to provide for a sinking fund and a penalty'for violation of this ordinance or any part thereof", was read the second time. Thereupon Councllrran, Zeh introduced an ordinance entitled, "An ordinance providing for the issue and prescribing the form of twenty -two thousand five hiina ad dollars of funding bonds of the city of Caldwell, and providing for a tax to pay the same;" which ordinance was thereupon read in full and i.a as Animas,
