Regarding: Ambrosia Subdivision
February 16, 2025
Dear Hearing Examiner,
I respectfully request that the Ambrosia Subdivision proposal be denied.
Ambrosia Subdivision requires a rezone within a Community Center Placetype, which the
Comprehensive Plan designates as:
1) primarily a, "...commercial place type that focuses on creating a destination for residents." (p.36)
2) "...not primarily residential..." (p.36)
3) a "...vibrant gathering space..." (p.78-79+)
4) composed of less than 20% residential use, according to the graphic (p.43)
Chapter 4, Goal 3.6, specifically states the development of such areas should: "Engage community
members in the planning and design process ..." (p. 82). I don't see how a rezone, or residential
proposal, can rightly move forward for this area when the city has not yet given special attention to their
overall plan for it.
Please deny the proposed Ambrosia Subdivision at this time.
