AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THAT CERTAIN LAND LAYS CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, AND THAT SAID LANDS SHOULD BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, AS PART OF THE R-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTIAL) ZONE; DECLARING SAID LANDS BY PROPER LEGAL DESCRIPTION AS DESCRIBED BELOW TO BE A PART OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
Ordinance No. 3733, provided for the annexation of:
A parcel of land being a portion of Lot 1, Block 3 of Upland Park Addition to Caldwell, Book 2, Page 28 records of Canyon County, located in the NW ¼ of Section 2, T3N, R3W, BM, Caldwell City, Canyon County
Idaho, more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the NW corner of the NW ¼ of Section 2; thence S89°58'28"E, 2647.03 feet to the NE corner of said NW ¼; thence S00°31'16"W, 1143.90 feet along the east boundary of Government Lot 3 to
the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence S00°31'16"W, 238.65 feet along the east boundary of Government Lot 3 to the SE corner of Government Lot 3; thence S89°57'24"W, 1323.68 feet along the south boundary of
Government Lot 3 coinciding with the south boundary of said Lot l to the SW corner of said Lot l; thence N00°31'07''E, 345.93 feet along the west boundary of said Lot 1 to the NW corner of said Lot 1; thence
N89°58'10"E, 938.37 feet along the north boundary of said Lot 1; thence S00°30'34"W, 107.06 feet; thence N89°57'29"E, 385.30 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. This parcel contains 9.56 acres, more or less.
Section 1. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and
publication, according to law.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be severable. If any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force
and effect and shall be read to carry out the purposes of the ordinance before the declaration of partial invalidity.
Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders and parts thereof in conflict herewith are repealed.
Ordinance No. 3733 was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on the 1st day of June,
2026. The full text of the Ordinance is available at Caldwell City Hall, 205 S 6th Ave, Caldwell, Idaho 83605. The Mayor and City Council approved this summary on the 1st day of June, 2026, for publication
on the 9th day of June, 2026, pursuant to Idaho Code § 50-901A.

adequate notice to the public as to the contents of such ordinance.
