HomeMy WebLinkAboutSTE25-000005 Kahari Apartments SUP Extension Ltr September 2, 2025 Attn: Steve Satterlee email: stevenmsatterlee@gmail.com RE: STE25-000005 – Kahari Apartments SUP Time Extension Dear Mr. Satterlee, We have received your request for a time extension for the special use permit associated with Kahari Apartments development, SUP23-000010. In reviewing your request, it appears that construction documents were submitted within the required 12 month period and approved on September 25, 2024. We have therefore reviewed your request in accordance with criteria in Caldwell City Code Section 10-03-04 and have determined the following: (A) Significant amendments to the comprehensive plan or City Code have been adopted, however, they do not change the basis under which the special use permit was granted. (B) Significant changes in land use have not occurred in the area that will impact or be impacted by the project. (C) Hazardous conditions have not developed nor have been discovered that will impact the project. (D) Community facilities and services are adequate to serve the project. Based on the above findings, the SUP expiration date is September 25, 2026. Please note, since the application was first approved the City has adopted Traffic Impact fees, which will be due at the time building permits are pulled. Additionally, future time extensions up to two (2) years may be granted as determined and approved by the director. With all extensions, the director may require the special use to comply with the current provisions of this chapter Please let me know if you have any questions.
