PUBLIC MEETING INFORMATION
CITY OF CALDWELL
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite interested parties to participate in public hearings either electronically or in person. If you have a cough,
fever, or are not feeling well, please contact Planning & Zoning staff to arrange participation remotely. The City of Caldwell follows the CDC
guidelines to allow for distancing in the public meeting area and provide masks/hand sanitizer on site.
Virtual Participation Option: Register in advance to provide public comments electronically or by telephone. During the registration process, you
will be asked what item on the agenda you wish to speak about. Please use the case number as listed within the written notice.
On-line registration must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Click on the green “public meetings” button on the center of the
page. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the virtual meeting. REGISTER HERE:

Written comments must be received at least eight (8) days in advance of the meeting to the Planning & Zoning Department at
P&Z@cityofcaldwell.org to be included within the staff report. All comments received after the staff report has been transmitted will be included in
the case file and provided as late exhibits at the appropriate public hearing.

1. ACTION ITEM: Public Hearing Quasi-Judicial: Case Number: SUP25-000010: The
applicant, Dan and Shelley Kottman, are requesting a special use permit for an accessory structure
totaling 2,400 sq. ft. The accessory structure is 285 sq. ft. larger than the single-family residential
structure on site, which is why the SUP is required. The 2.3 acre parcel is zoned R-1, and is
located at 1207 Svannah St., on the North side of Savannah St., approximately 550 feet west of
the intersection with Rice Ave., in Caldwell, ID.
2. ACTION ITEM: Public Hearing Quasi-Judicial: Case Number: SUP25-000005: The
applicant Hatch Design Architecture, on behalf of Venus Development LLC, is requesting
approval of a special use permit for outdoor storage of RVs as well as for a diesel repair shop on
two parcels totaling approximately 10.31 acres. The property is zoned C-3, Commercial Service,
and is located on the west side of Middleton Rd., approximately 400 feet south of the intersection
with Ustick Rd, Idaho.
3. ACTION ITEM: Public Hearing Quasi-Judicial: Case Number: SUP25-000003: The
applicant, Jeff Likes of ALC Architecture, on behalf of Cormeier Family Trust, is requesting
approval of a special use permit to construct additional storage buildings at an existing traditional
ministorage facility in the C-3 zone and within the APO-1 overlay. The property received
approval for a Special Use Permit in 2018 for the existing use; an expansion was anticipated at
that time but not included in the entitlements. The two new storage structures are proposed to
match the existing facilities. The development is located on the east side of Middleton Rd.,
approximately 690 feet south of the intersection with Ustick Rd., in Caldwell, Idaho.
4. ACTION ITEM: Public Hearing Quasi-Judicial: Case Number: PUD25-000003: The
applicant, Hatch Design and Architecture, on behalf of Logan Hill LLC, is requesting approval of
a Planned Unit Development application for Logan Meadows, a multifamily housing
development with 11 fourplexes and one duplex for a total of 46 dwelling units. The 4.51 acre
property is zoned R-2, and is located on the south side of W. Logan St., approximately 1,700 feet
east of the intersection with Farmway Rd, in Caldwell, Idaho.
VI. ADJOURNMENT
Public Information/Responsibility: For public hearing cases that are scheduled to be heard by City Hearing Bodies
and are not heard on the noticed date: The hearing body is required to provide a “date certain” for when that case will be
heard (typically on the next hearing agenda but not always). Additional notices are not required and are NOT sent to
property owners or posted on the site. Please check the city’s website for agendas and updates or contact staff for the
hearing date that the particular case is to be heard.
