The Mapping Department provides the following comments on a request by Caldwell Housing Authority, is requesting annexation of parcels R3465800000, R3465801100, and R3465801000, with a proposed zoning of R-2 (Medium Density Residential), where the current City comprehensive plan future land use designation is Neighborhood 2. Additionally, the applicant is requesting approval of a Development Agreement with approvals for specific uses to accommodate their master plan for Farmway Village, an affordable housing residential community. The 78.92-acre development is located on the southeast corner of Highway 44 and Farmway Road, in Caldwell, Idaho. Subdivision / Development Name 1. Approved. Address Number 1. Fire has indicated that the current addressing for Farmway Village creates issues for emergency services. Farmway Village must be re-addressed to better assist emergency services in finding their patients. 2. Addressing shall be assigned by the Mapping Department before permitting. Street Names 1. The Fire Department & Mapping Department are requiring street naming for all drive isle to re-address Farmway Village. 2. Contact the Mapping Dept. for the street naming process & approval. Other comments: 1. Any changes to street names, lots, blocks, or phase lines shall be approved by the Mapping Department prior to construction drawing approval for the phase where changes are intended. 2. The Fire Department has indicated the southern third of the property will need a secondary/emergency access point to meet the current fire code.
