LIBERTY SPRINGS SUBDIVISION TIME EXTENSION
This is a request for a second time extension for Liberty Springs Subdivision. This subdivision was approved on February 22, 2022 and the Order of Decision was signed March, 7 2022. The improvement plans have now been approved by City Engineering. The reason for the delay in beginning construction, and hence the second extension request, was trying to obtain
permitting from the Army Corps of Engineers. By the time approval from the Corp was obtained, irrigation was in the canals and work could not commence. Work on this project will begin this fall after irrigation has left the canals in October. The current extension expires September 7th, 2025. We are requesting a 12 month extension from the
September 7th deadline. We are requesting a second time extension so that work may begin in earnest this fall after irrigation season has ended.
There has been no significant changes to City Code that would require substantial modifications to the current property layout. The current preliminary plat still conforms with the City’s master plan. Thank you for your consideration.
