HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-25-2024 Design Review CommissionDESIGN REVIEW COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Monday, November 25, 2024 @ 12:00 pm City Hall, Council Chambers, 205 S. 6' Ave, Caldwell, Idaho Deputy Director, Morgan Bessaw, called the meeting to order at: 12:00pm. ROLL CALL Present: ® Carlson ® Dovel-Moore ® Hansen Absent: ❑ Carlson ❑ Dovel-Moore ❑ Hansen Quorum Present: ®Yes ❑ No ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR Deputy Director asked for election of Chair. Carlson nominated Nicole Dovel-Moore as chair as she has had the most experience in the Design Review Commission. A voice vote was taken. MOTION CARRIED Chair Dovel-Moore asked for election of Vice Chair. Carlson nominated Hansen as Vice Chair. MOTION CARRIED SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS There were none. CONSENT CALENDAR: (ALL CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS ARE ACTION ITEMS) There was none. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS ACTION ITEM: Hearts Across the Valley Public Art Project: Consider the City of Caldwell participating as a sponsor in the Hearts Across the Valley program organized by CBH Homes. Recommendation from the Design Review Commission will be forwarded to City Council for consideration. Mariel Schweitzer, 1977 Overland Rd., Meridian, ID 83642, presented the Hearts Across the Valley using a Power Point Presentation. She provided the commissioners with a late exhibit packet to refer to while she spoke.
