Dear Caldwell Planning and Zoning,
If the 77 residential lots are approved, the elementary students residing in the
development would attend Lakevue Elementary School.
Although the district is relieved to have a new elementary school opening this fall, we
are also concerned. Lakevue Elementary, Central Canyon Elementary, and Falcon
Ridge Elementary are all surrounded by upcoming developments. The district is
projecting that the 8 of the 9 elementary schools will be at capacity by 2029.
On behalf of the school district and concerned citizens, we urge you to consider the
rate of growth in this area and the impact it has on the district’s ability to provide
quality educational services to the children.
