HomeMy WebLinkAboutNarrative_Gaddi_V1 April 25, 2024 City of Caldwell Planning and Zoning Department Attn: Robin Collins 621 Cleveland Blvd Caldwell, ID 83605 Re: Annexation Request Narrative Dear Planning Staff, Planning & Zoning Commission, Mayor and City Council On behalf of the property owner/s, we are pleased to submit an annexatfon request of seven (7) parcels (R3465700000, R3465500000, R346490000, R3464901000, R34649010A0, R3464901100, R3464800000) into the City of Caldwell with an M-1 (Light Industrial) zoning designatfon. The subject parcels total approximately 88.60 acres and are located northeast of the intersectfon of Farmway Road and Highway 20/26 and northwest of the Interstate 84 and Highway 20/26 interchange, as shown in the image below. No uses or platting is proposed or planned as part of this applicatfon. The subject parcels have a direct path for annexatfon via City limits located to the south. Municipal water and sewer are available to serve the subject parcels, and the annexatfon of these parcels will support the expansion of municipal services to the north to serve developments planned in the area and provide for orderly growth. Our request to annex with a zoning designatfon of M-1 aligns with the City of Caldwell Comprehensive Plan future land use designatfons of Industrial and Manufacturing & Productfon.
