The proposed development will be located along 10th Avenue south of Homedale Road approximately 0.5 miles north of SH-55 (Karcher Road) within the City of Caldwell, Canyon County. Development Summary The proposed site consists of a 1,039 single family and single family attached homes. Direct access to SH-55 is not being requested. ITD Staff Requirements ITD has a planned and funded project for Farmway to Karcher (SH-55) corridor which will add additional through lanes in both eastbound and westbound directions and extending turn land storage on all approaches, no additional mitigations will be required of this development. Expiration of Staff Report In the event the project has not been constructed with the buildout year of 2032, a new TIS may need to be reviewed to determine if additional mitigations will be needed based on current traffic conditions. Notices This report does not supersede or nullify any local land use requirements or legal property restrictions. Legal property restrictions include but are not limited to easements, access agreements, deed restrictions, plat restrictions, liens or other encumbrances. Removing, modifying, or establishing legal property restrictions is the responsibility of the developer. ITD Staff Recommendations are intended to assure that the proposed development will not place an undue burden on the existing State Highway system within the vicinity impacted by the proposed development. Maintaining safety and mobility for Idaho’s motorists is of utmost importance to ITD.
