The Engineering Department provides the following comments on a request by the applicant,
Tamara Thompson of the Land Group, Inc, on behalf of Home Depot USA Inc, is requesting approval
of a short plat to divide a 16.78 acre parcel into four commercial/light industrial lots. The
property is zoned M-1, light industrial, is addressed as 4210 Highway 20/26, and is located on the
southwest corner of the intersection between Highway 20/26 and Smeed Parkway, in Caldwell,
Idaho.
General
1. The Engineering Department does not have an issue with this request. All necessary right-of-
way adjacent to this site has already been obtained. Any additional access to be proposed with
future development from Smeed Parkway or State Highway 20/26 shall be reviewed and
approved by the City of Caldwell and/or Idaho Transportation Dept. (ITD) at the time of civil
plan submittal. All accesses shall comply with City of Caldwell and ITD access policies.
