A RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CALDWELL AND AME ELECTRIC FOR ELECTRICAL UPGRADES FOR NEW
UNDERGROUND POWER SERVICES ALONG THE DOWNTOWN ALLEYWAY
RUNNING EAST AND WEST BETWEEN ARTHUR AND BLAINE AND RUNNING
NORTH AND SOUTH BETWEEN S. 10TH AND S. 7TH•
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Caldwell, Idaho
accepting the agreement made a part hereof and set forth in full.

A.M.E. Electric, Inc. is pleased to present this proposal for your review and consideration. Our
proposal is to provide the required electrical upgrades for new underground Idaho Power
services along the alleyway running East and West between Arthur and Blaine and running
North and South between S. 10th and S. 7th Ave.
***PROPOSAL INTENT***
All the information provided below including those listed in the "not included" is our attempt to
fully detail what we believe the complete scope of work is being requested of us. Should there be
any items in the "included" section of work or the "not included" section of work that you believe
is not correct please contact us immediately so we can modify the scope of work to fit your
needs.
GENERAL:
1. This proposal is valid for (30) thirty days from the date of the proposal.
This proposal is based on the original job walk with the City of Caldwell on March 26,
2025, as well as subsequent job walks involving the City of Caldwell Engineering, the City
of Caldwell Electrical Inspectors, IPCO, C3 Excavation, Probst Electric as well as AME
Electric. All meetings to date are included in the cost of this proposal as well as
coordination with other trades to date and moving forward.
3. Outages:
Coordination with City of Caldwell, affected property owner's or tenants of
effected properties, and IPCO for any required outages when making changes to
the electrical gear.
b. Great efforts have been made in the planning of this project to make outages
have as minimal impact to businesses, the execution of the work will be carried
out in a like manor.
4. Electrical permit and inspections.
5. Grounding to meet requirements as discussed with electrical inspectors on job walk
INCLUDED IN THIS PROPOSAL:.
Keystone Pizza:
1. Provide and install new gear stand for new service.
2. Provide and install one (1) new 400-amp 240vac single phase meter base for
underground service.
3. Provide and install one (1) new 200amp disconnect.
4. Provide and install one (1) new 100amp disconnect.
5. Provide and install conduit and wire and trenching from new service to junction box to
intercept existing 200-amp service.
6. Provide and install conduit and wire and trenching from new service to junction box to
intercept existing 100-amp service.
7. Provide and install junction boxes needed to tie in existing services.
8. Demo overhead feed for 200amp service.
9. Demo overhead feed for 100amp service.
10. Grounding for service.
11. Demo old meter bases and misc. conduit associated with service replacement.
12. Permit and inspections.
Gigi's Coner Shop:
1. Provide and install one (1) new 200-amp 240vac single phase meter main for
underground service.
2. Refeed existing service.
3. Demo old overhead service and riser.
4. Grounding for service.
5. Permit and inspections.
6. . Patch back approximately a 6'x6'area of asphalt.
Idaho Dry Cleaning:
1. Provide and install new underground riser for one (1) 200amp three phase 240vac
existing meter base.
2. Provide and install one (1) new 200amp 3-phase 240vac disconnect.
3. Demo old service disconnect and riser.
4. Grounding for service.
5. Permit and inspections.
6. Patch back approximately a 200' x2' area of asphalt.
HBA Lashes:
1. Provide and install one (1) new meter base and disconnect for one (1) 200-amp 3-phase
240vac underground service.
2. Provide and install conduit and wire from new disconnect to existing meter base.
3. Provide and install meter base bypass clips and blank.
4. Demo old service and riser.
5. Grounding for service.
6. Permit and inspections.
7. Replace approximately a 8'x20' section of concrete sidewalk on 9tn St. in front of HBA
Lashes to match existing conditions, not ADA compliant.
Willow's Place:
1. Provide and install new riser for one (1)-2" existing underground service.
2. Demo old service and riser.
3. Grounding for service.
4. Permit and inspections.

Syme Real Estate Building:
1. Provide and install new conduit riser for one (1)-2" underground service.
2. Provide and install one (1) new 200amp meter main.
3. Provide and install new conduit riser for one (1)-2" existing underground service feed.
4. Refeed existing service.
5. Rework conduit below panels to accommodate new underground services.
6. Demo old service and risers.
7. Grounding for service.
8. Permits and inspections.
So Glam Beauty Bar:
1. Provide and install one (1) 3" conduit riser for underground service feed.
2. Demo old riser.
3. Grounding for service.
4. Blank off existing outside receptacle in way of the conduit new riser.
5. Provide and install one (1) new outside receptacle.
6. Permit and inspections.
7. Replace approximately a 5'x3' section of concrete pad
White Building behind Aurther St. Parking lot:
1. Provide and install one (1) new 200amp meter main
2. Provide and install one (1) new 2' conduit riser for underground service feed.
3. Demo old service and riser.
4. Refeed existing service.
5. Grounding for service.
6. Permit and inspections.
Service Pedestal behind Aurther St. Parking lot:
1. Remove and reinstall the service pedestal.
2. Stub two (2) 1 %" conduits out from under the service pedestal for future loads.
3. Test existing service after reenergizing.
4. Permit.
Grit 2C Building:
1. Provide and install one (1) 4-gang meter pack.
2. Provide and install junction boxes for three (3) different locations on the back side of
the building.
3. Run conduit and wire to three (3) new junction boxes on back side of building.
4. Refeed four (4) existing services.
5. Demo old service and riser.
6. Provide and install two (2) three 3" conduit risers for underground service feed.
7. Grounding for service.
8. Permits and inspections.
9. Replace approximately a 5'x20' section of concrete pad where dumpsters are located.
Fashion Extra:
1. Provide and install one (1) new 3" conduit riser for underground service feed.
2. Demo old service and risers.
3. Provide and install one (1) new wireway below the existing meter panel.
4. Provide and install one (1) new wireway up high to intercept the existing building feeder
conduits.
S. Provide and install new conduit and wire to refeed buildings.

6. Grounding for service.
7. Permits and inspections.
8. Provide and install approximately a 16" wide x 17' long row of brick pavers to patch back
the sidewalk cut.
Arthur St. Decorative light:
1. Provide and install one (1) new decorative light.
2. Demo old light fed overhead.
3. Remove concrete from the existing lighting circuit junction box to the new decorative
light.
4. Provide and install conduit and wire to new light.
5. Provide and install one (1) new light poles base.
6. Provide and install brick pavers from the existing location to the new decorative light.
Kimball Ave. Driveway approaches and asphalt road patch:
1. Replace approximately 14' x 11' x 6" section of concrete for driveway approach into the
east alley.
2. Replace approximately a 14' x 11' x 6" section of concrete for driveway approach into
west alley.
3. Patch back approximately a 3' x 60' area of asphalt across Kimball Ave.
9th and Blaine Service pedestal:
1. Provide and install conduit and wire from the existing pedestal in park to new junction
box on the north side of bridge.
2. Provide and install one (1) new junction box on the north side of the bridge.
3. Provide and install wire from the new junction box to the existing junction box on the
south side of the bridge.
4. Saw cut and remove concrete from the existing junction box to the new decorative light
locations on Blaine.
5. Provide and install conduit and wire to new light locations.
6. Provide and install brick pavers in the saw cut along Blaine Street.
7. Provide and install three (3) new decorative light poles, two (2) on Blaine Street and one
(1) on 9th Street.
8. Demo three (3) overhead fed light poles two (2) on Blaine Street and one (1) on 9th
Street.
9. Grounding for service.
10. Permits and inspections.
