REQUEST SUMMARY: The applicant, on behalf of eric Salinas, is requesting approval of a special use permit for an
event center in the Traditional Neighborhood zone. The site includes two parcels, one parcel with a building that has
previously been used as a restaurant and a second parcel that is undeveloped. The intent is to use the site for indoor
and outdoor events, including a location for the placement of mobile food units (food trucks). The site is
approximately ½ acre and is addressed as 424 E. Elgin St., with one parcel (R01902000) located on the west corner of
E. Elgin St. and N 5th Ave. and the second parcel (R0190000000) on the north corner of E. Denver St. and N. 5th Ave.
separated by an alley.
