RE: STE25-000002 – Canyon Village Lofts Time Extension
Dear Ms. Womack,
We have received your request for a time extension for the special use permit associated
with Canyon Village Lofts, SUP22-000025. We have reviewed your request in accordance
with criteria in Caldwell City Code Section 10-03-04 and have determined the following:
(A) Significant amendments to the comprehensive plan or City Code have been adopted,
however, they do not change the basis under which the special use permit was
granted.
(B) Significant changes in land use have not occurred in the area that will impact or be
impacted by the project.
(C) Hazardous conditions have not developed nor have been discovered that will impact
the project.
(D) Community facilities and services are adequate to serve the project.
Based on the above findings, we have approved a time extension of two (2) years. The
new SUP expiration date is February 15, 2027. Please be aware that since the
application was approved, the City has adopted Traffic Impact fees, which will be due
at the time building permits are pulled. Please let me know if you have any questions.
