Subject: Airport and Rosewood Streets
We live on the corner of Rosewood Dr and Airport Road. People speed by on Airport Road all the
time. With Element Ridge Subdivision coming in, and with construction starting on HWY 55, Airport
Road is Going to be used as a speedway for people to get to Element Ridge or bypass 10th avenue
and use it as. A speedway to get to HWY 55. We are asking that three (3) speed bumps be put in on
Airport Road. We Have neighbors that are constantly walking the neighborhood, children at play
(there are two children that live in a home across from us on Rosewood and Airport) and folks
walking their dogs. We have no sidewalks, so pedestrians have to walk alongside the street.
This is a quiet neighborhood, that frankly, is going to be ruined by an eye sore of a water tower and a
ridiculous amount of homes and added cars. So please respect us as taxpayers and help us protect
our neighborhood from accidents and noise.
Just as you endeavor to please the developers and pad your pockets with tax dollars, please
endeavor just as hard to keep us safe!
