HomeMy WebLinkAboutMarvin & Margaret Trueblood 2024_09_13To whom it may concern: We are writing in objection to the request to rezone on the SWC of E Ustick & S Kimball Avenue in Caldwell. Hearing date is set for September 25, 2024. Reason for objection: We are a retired couple, residents of Cumberland Estates. This requested parcel is close to the area where we reside. When this development was first inniated it was the intention to have it be a quiet development. Now we have housing West of our residences & increased traffic on Ustick & 10th Ave., with more in the planning stages. We ask that this request not be granted for the desired 90 residential & commercial establishments. Already it’s difficult to even exit our community with such increased traffic. We are wondering if this is even a concern for your Planning & Zoning Commission. Everywhere we look there are apartments & townhouses being built. When will it stop? Our roads are not equipped to handle this increased traffic as well as the concern of local residences for safety & a certain amount of privacy. Please do not approve this request.
