It appears as though they are including the parking lot in the north end as open space (which I assume they
can’t?) If that is the case, then the qualified open space listed on the landscape plan would be 170,725 sq. ft. =
3.92 acres (10.4%)
The calculation does not include any of the open space in the 4-plex area. The total landscape area in the 4-plex
area, not including building footprints, parking islands, easements, drive aisles, and storm drain areas equals
122,415 sf / 2.81 acres (7.45%)
Total qualified open space is 17.85% based on adding the areas around the 4-plexes and removing the lot that the
parking lot in the north end of the site is located. This also does not include any open space that would be
developed as part of the commercial lot/daycare play area.
