My name is Stacey Behrens. I live at 11081 Red Mountain St in the Mandalay Ranch Subdivsion. September 19th of 2022 the developer of the property behind us on the corner of Middleton
Road and 20/26 destroyed several old and large (6’-8’) diameter trees and dug up the bank of Mason creek. I was able to contact Ashley Newbry at the city and she got them to stop.
Over the lst two years I have been in contact with Cass Jones of the Idaho Department of Water Resourses, Stepahie Hailey of Canyon County, and Ashley Newbry of the city of Caldwell.
Each of those wonderful individuals has helped me to pursue reparations to restore mason creek. This Summer the develper made some attemp at repairs, but it was unsucessfull. The developer
planted four (1”-1.5”) trees and aproximatley 30 small bushes in the area where the old trees were. They watered initially but after a short time they stopped and everything has died.
I ask that the develper is required to make a real attempt at repairing the damage that was caused before they are granted anexxation to the city. I have included some photos of the
dead landscaping.
