RE: Administrative Determination AD24-000012 – Valvoline Parking
Dear Ms. Benedict,
We have received your request for an administrative determination on the required
number of off-street parking spaces for a proposed Valvoline Instant Oil Change located at
504 N. 21st Ave. in Caldwell. The proposed use a directly permitted use on the property.
The current off-street parking code requires 2 parking spaces for every service bay plus 1
space for every 400 sq. feet of office area. The applicant is proposing to have 2 service
stalls and approximately 800 sq. feet of office space. The parking required would be a
minimum of 6 spaces. The applicant is proposing 8 parking spaces, one of which will be
ADA. Therefore, the parking proposed appears to be in compliance with the Caldwell City
code.
