The request to change West Haven subdivision to an optional 55+ community should not be
allowed.From the very beginning this has been a core piece of the development and was presented to
the community and to this council as a required 55+ community.
It was designed as a 55+ community It has been reviewed as a 55+ community.
It has been approved as a 55+ community.
To allow the change now would mean:it was not presented accurately to the community
It was not reviewed with all the facts by this council.
Essentially, this will be a subdivision that was not required to go through the true approvalprocess. Changing a core piece of the development should not be allowed. This is a bait and
switch game by the developer and would be unethical if this council allows the change.
