ROLL CALL III. REVIEW OF PROCEEDINGS (OPENING STATEMENT) IV. CONSENT CALENDAR: (ALL CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS ARE ACTION ITEMS) 1. APPROVE MINUTES: April 15, 2024, CHPC meeting. V. CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Public Hearing Action Item: CA-24-02 Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Historic Preservation Commission to demolish an existing 400 square foot non-original detached garage built in 1950 and construct a 504 square foot accessory structure/hobby room in the rear yard at 1615 Dearborn Street. VI. OLD BUSINESS: None. VII. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Chelsee Boehm visiting from Canyon County Parks, Cultural & Natural Resources. 2. Action Item: Send letters to everyone in the district with district information approved at the last meeting and to include flyers about the Rice House relocation. 3. Action Item: Change dates for regular meetings to be the first meetings of the month. VIII. COMMISSION/STAFF UPDATES AND REPORTS: 1. CHAIRMAN: Randy to update on when interviews are set with Chuck Randolph. 2. COMMISSIONER BRADSHAW: Provide updates on CWI videographer. 3. COMMISSIONER PATTERSON: Additional ideas for interview questions received from commissioners, if any. 4. COMMISSIONER NOTHDURFT: Update on calendar of timelines for grant applications. And information from National Alliance of Historic Preservation Commissioner training. 5. COMMISSIONER O’BEERY: Updates on Historic Preservation Facebook page. 6. STAFF, MORGAN BESSAW: Update on SHPO training. IX. ADJOURNMENT The next Primary Historic Preservation Meeting is on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 6:00 pm at 205 S 6th Ave, Caldwell Steunenberg Conference Room, second floor.
