PROJECT: Valencia Village – 200 Lateral Tiling (BEI Project No. C2021-010)
Steve,
We have received the City’s comments regarding the 200 Lateral Tiling at Valencia Village, dated
09/26/2023. We’ve revised the plans to meet the City of Caldwell requirements as follows:
1. Sheet C-2:
a. The sleeves for the water main in Middleton Road have been upsized to
accommodate an 18” water main.
b. The storm drain main over the Noble Drain has been sleeved. Sleeve notes/details
will be found on the Noble Drain & Valencia Village No. 2 plans as those are
completed.
c. The sleeve detail has been revised to include a sleeve for an 18” main.
2. Sheet C-3 – The island in Red Eagle has been removed. The common lot that contains the
200 Lateral does not have a blanket utility easement, only a 10’ easement where needed for
Joint Trench facilities. Preliminary maps are attached.
3. Sheet C-4 – See response to item 3 above.
4. Sheet C-5:
a. Pathways within the easement have been removed at Pioneer’s request.
b. A driveway approach for Skyway is called out on sheet 4.1 on the Valencia 1 plans.
c. The slope shown on the existing pipe under Skyway is based on information from
our surveyor. Slopes have not been revised. A note has been added to verify the
existing slope & match.
5. Other items requested by Pioneer:
a. A number of in-line boxes have been removed.
b. An additional headgate has been provided at the north end of the site.
