They will need to limit their storage of vehicles to those that are associatedwith the towing business as described below, any additional services could trigger a need for a SUP in the future. Thank you, From: Danielle Monroe <danielle@torchtowing.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 3, 2024 8:39 AM To: Morgan Bessaw <mbessaw@cityofcaldwell.org> Subject: Re: Special Use Permit Good morning, In response to your questions below. They are both pretty similar. Torch Trucking at 3709 is for heavy duty towing. We will store all of our tow trucks, recovery equipment and any semis, trailers and or loads we recover until the insurance disposes of them. We will also have a dealers license at this address. As a tow company this enables us to sell things we may get stuck with. The 3609 Address is going to be used for light duty towing operations. So it will store all of our flatbeds and hook trucks. The cars stored will be employees vehicles and any vehicles towed and Impounded until insurance and or owner picks up the vehicle. On the police rotation we’re on Caldwell PD and Canyon County Police call rotations. So they call when there are accidents arrests etc. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. We’re super eager to get these permits! Thank you!! Can you please provide a little additional information to assist me in your review. 1. The narratives for both businesses appear identical; can you please confirm that both businesses will be acting exclusively as a towing company and/or expand on any different services that will be unique to each business/site? 2. Will either site/business be storing any vehicles other that those vehicles that are towed there and/or that are used for towing? 3. Can you please expand on your description of police rotation towed car storage and what that entails?
