The group reviewed a draft proposal provided by Chief Daniels. Also discussed were:
Education levels
Advanced EMT and FTO
Managing Fire Officer (MFO)
City may be looking at some level of tuition reimbursement for FY26
Peer Support Program
Motivating Firefighters with clear career path
Hazmat pay
The group discussed PL accruals for 2912 and 2080.
No decisions were made.
The next meeting, possibly 5/28/24, would be setting Ground Rules and an exchange of Article
changes. Looking to schedule 613 and 614 for possible all day meetings to begin negotiations.
Shelli will cancel 5123/24 meeting and work on getting other dates scheduled and posted.
Meeting adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
