APPROVEDC Date v °� Michael Kane RaeLynn North Discussed the purpose of the pre -meetings to begin some general discussion of topics that will arise in contract negotiations for the new contract. The following topics were identified: Clothing Need to look at what is provided and set updated budget amounts, including for new hires and then yearly; continuation of inhouse "store"; discussion of when employees get Class A uniforms; selection of vendor; use of purchase cards; and ensure clothing allowances meet IRS tax rules. 2. Inclusion of current MOUs into new contract 3. Define Overtime Include time for outside events, Fair and Rodeo. How does rate billed to third party apply to pay? 4. Wages Discussion of new pay schedule; roll cert pay into base rate; ARPA funds going away (about $420k to be absorbed by the Fire budget); City considering up to 4% COLA; keep longevity as is. 5. Health & Safety Gym reimbursement?; determine what annual physical and mental health evaluations are required to get the December bonus; make this "fit for duty" a requirement with ability for firefighter to take steps needed if unable to pass, including HR in any discussions. 6. Firefighter Levels Finance will send out Revenue information. Matt will arrange a Teams meeting with Kolby to train on OpenGov reports. A small group will meet on 5/14/24 to discuss ideas for Firefighter levels and possible structure. Executive Session began at 3:03 p.m. and the meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
