Dear P&Z,
These people have been making changes, Cancelling & rescheduling, since before October 2023. Also, they do not take
the Public Hearing signs off, or out of here. Our neighbors and I have rearranged plans to be at all of the meetings
scheduled. These are just a few I can remember offhand:
Oct. 11, 2023 - cancelled
Jan. 10, 2024 - cancelled
Jan. 24, 2024 - cancelled, and the hearing sign IS STILL UP.
Apparently, only because I happen to call P & Z, did I learn that Jan. 24ths night's meeting was cancelled. Again, plans
that evening were trashed for no good reason. And now, they made the next "tentative" meeting ON VALENTINE'S DAY,
when we had plans to go to dinner. This is getting ridiculous. If these people haven't even picked up a hammer yet, and
all this keeps going on, I cannot imagine if they get approved, how much Mickey mousing there will be building these 2-3
story buildings. Just an observation.
Also, I have learned that they are planning on driveway access intersecting COLLEGE AVE., when the address says 0
Montana Ave. ( I know, firetrucks and such) Our street is going to have way more traffic on College Ave, we don't need.
Also, while I'm on it, every single cross street that has a stop sign, which is all of them along College Ave, every block,
people are absolutely ignoring to yield at all. I'm scared to death my elderly mom & I are going to get hit, as I take her to
dialysis. I cannot tell you how many times we've almost gotten nailed, and they look at US incredulously! We need a
white paint thick line to at least help this ongoing problem. Lights would be nice on the stop signs, but that may be too
much to ask.
Bottom line, this is a narrow, busy road as it is. And lots of accidents.
We just would like to keep our PEACEFUL neighborhood peaceful, the way it is. We intentionally bought this house,
because of how quiet it is. This is my mom's FIRST house bought by my mom at 81 years old!!
