Thank you! Did you get both the online application and the hard copy application and associated documents including
the Mylar? Let me know what else you need. I just messaged Mayor Wagoner on this application as it has some pretty
significant timing importance. To catch you up this is what I shared with Mayor Wagoner;
"We are working on an Industrial Project off Chicago Street there in Caldwell that is called Cloudgate Industrial Park. The
industrial park will consist of 7 buildings on just over 6 acres. We have owned the property for several years and are just
now reaching completion of our first 2 buildings with the next two buildings scheduled to start in March. Where we
haven’t developed or built in Caldwell, we have found ourselves a little behind the 8 ball where we feel you could help
us out. As part of our plan with this project, all of the buildings were planned to be built on one lot and serviced by a
private road. As the buildings were built the plans was to come back through and do a condo plat overlay. Where we
dropped the ball was not learning from staff that as part of this process, we would need to submit a “Short Plat”
application that would need to be heard/approved by City Council. So, when we learned that we hurried and completed
the application, conducted another neighborhood meeting and got everything submitted online and delivered the
needed physical documents to Planning and Zoning along with the signed Condo Plat Mylar which has been signed by
the Health Department, us and County Surveyor. The only missing signature is that of the city. So where the project is
already well underway but we were late to get this application in we are hoping that with some help from you that you
could help the item be placed on the April 2nd City Council Agenda. Katie Wright said that she would advocate for that to
happen but couldn’t promise it would. The urgency here for us is that where we were unaware that the Short Plat
application had to be submitted and approved we have had to delay a buyer who is looking to close on the building.
Originally we had planned on closing on or before February 29th they have now agreed to an extension to on or before
May 1st. We really really don’t want to loose them as a buyer and feel if we can get this item heard on the April 2nd
agenda and approved and Mylar signed that we can get through the rest of the recording process with the Assessors
office that we can make that On or Before May 1st date. Is there anything else we can do to insure we can be heard on
that date?
What questions do you have? What would you need from my team or I? I have attached some information on the
project for your review if that helps. Please let me know what we can do here to expedite the approval of this Short Plat
and get the cities signature on the Mylar so we can get the Condo Plat recorded.
