Tuesday September 19, 2023. My family moved into Hayden Homes 16618 Suffolk Ave Caldwell Idaho with our Backyardfacing the project on Montana Ave, the multi-units 8 duplex’s Two story, totaling 16 family Residential units. I’m against the building of the High Density right across the Street from ourproperty. I did attend 2 meetings regarding this project from time to time, Feb 17 2023 & March 16 2023. The meetings were from Jacob Booher & Eric Giovanucci at the time.. along with 5 or 6 other families. Everyone actually acted in kindness to this process, although no one attending wanted highdensity Duplexes with 16 families living, driving, storing cars and making traffic a lot worse on Montana Blvd. My objections 1. There had been no Traffic Study preformed on said street, which already has enough traffic running 45 to 50 mph especially during high times in Am, and Pm. I hear the speed and traffic running every day. 2. Absolutely no benefits of having 16 units that are not conventional subdivisions with easyaccess with in and out Stop Signs. 3.I was also told they would be Units that would be family owned costing 400k to 450k I don’tthink families would buy a unit over a home.. not to mention the tight congested area they would live in and try to Access Montana Ave. 4. This project wouldn’t benefit the people who currently live around this 1.5 acre lot. Or the city of Caldwell they would have to install 4 way stop signs intersections and not to mentionsewer, water, and general keeping it Caldwell Beautiful.. it’s why we bought out here.. 5. If you allow this High Density 8 duplexes with parking under the Duplex’s it would allowmore to be built on the other side of us. Which i Guarantee Home Owners in our Tract would not like.. I know people must build and live together I’m not against that function. It’s when abuilder whom doesn’t have to live in our city drive our roads, makes more money off its citizens. Makes my family and others upset, the Current Property is Owned by Toll Brotherswhom, I have talked with other families in Hayden Homes. They Welcome becuase there single family homes which our owned not rented, not taken care of by Realtors and Renters. We have all talked for a few months now,, I didn’t attend last months meeting. But I did watch it on Google. I was under the impression this matter was handled at lastmonths City Meeting, it was voted down for obvious reasons. Now today I’m asked to send in another letter regarding the project across the street from me. Thank you For Time Joseph Becker 16618 Suffolk Ave Caldwell P.S. all the neighbors who attended the previous meetings from Booher Didn’t mind if 4 or 5 homes were put on this spot. We all told him. He mentioned it wasn’t cost effective to build homes compared to Muti family duplex’s But he doesn’t live in Caldwell Or have to drive or deal with the traffic on Busy Montana. My Backyard! We’re if any car wrecks happen from speed they will actually be in my BackYard! This email has been scanned for spam and viruses by Proofpoint Essentials. Click here to report this email as spam.
