The Caldwell Economic Development Department is pleased that Trilogy Development is considering an opportunity to develop in the City of Caldwell. Our department fully supports its efforts in developing quality
mixed-use projects within the Caldwell community. Escalon Park is one
such project that corresponds quite well with the project planned for the adjacent parcel west of this site. Escalon Park will deliver commercial lots on the Highway 20/26
frontage while providing a diverse mix of residential units to individuals in
the fast-growing East Caldwell region. The commercial pads associated with this project will aid in our efforts to expand shopping opportunities for our citizens while helping to fill in the gaps of our historic difficulties with retail leakage. Furthermore, the homes within the project are located
in a region with great access to jobs, services, and highway corridors. The
Economic Development Department recognizes the value of bringing new homes to this area to provide necessary housing for our current and future workforce. Thus, I give my full support to this project and applications for approval while recommending this project highly.
Escalon Park will expand residential diversity within this fast-growing region of Caldwell and will provide much-needed commercial development for our community. The Caldwell Economic Development department looks forward to working with Trilogy Development to bring
this meaningful project to the City of Caldwell.
