Hi Angie-
I can provide you with a preliminary plan sheet of the southwest corner of Karcher/Florida. I let Dennis know that once we have
Horrocks under contract to move forward with final design, their team can provide you with the information you're requesting in
better detail.
ITD does not have a plan to connect S. Georgia Ave to SH-55. Below is an image of the corridor between Indiana and Lake. There are
u-turn movements planned at the midpoint. The S. Georgia Ave connection would result in safety conflicts if it were to connect to SH-

From the email chain you can see that we are working on a project off of Highway 55/ Karcher Road. I am not the engineer. I am
only the planner. But we need to know the widths of the future improvements of Karcher Rd. This is for the frontage of parcel
R32842, the southwest corner of Karcher Road and S. Florida Avenue. The Phylis Canal also intersects the corner of this property.
Any dimensions or exhibits of the future plans will help us tremendously. Also if you have in your future plans S. Georgia Avenue
punching through to Karcher Road on the west side of the parcel.

Angie Cuellar our Engineer would like a better picture of the distances for your new widening project on Hwy 55 / Karcher Road and S.
Florida Ave in Caldwell, Idaho.

I discussed this again only last week. The ITD project will be a year or two after our project is completed and they have suggested we
do not include it in our traffic study. I have provided them with your information so they may work directly with you. The person we

Erika.Bowen@itd.idaho.gov Erika and I did discuss setbacks as well as the corner with the canal again last week. I can email her and
have her send you what she has, and also ask her to send you updated material as she gets it. I will do that now.
