I let Dennis know that once we have Horrocks under contract to move forward with final design, their team can provide you with the information you're requesting in better detail. ITD does not have a plan to connect S. Georgia Ave to SH-55. Below is an image of the corridor between Indiana and Lake. There are u-turn movements planned at the midpoint. The S. Georgia Ave connection would result in safety conflicts if it were to connect to SH- 55. I am not the engineer. I am only the planner. But we need to know the widths of the future improvements of Karcher Rd. This is for the frontage of parcel R32842, the southwest corner of Karcher Road and S. Florida Avenue. The Phylis Canal also intersects the corner of this property. Any dimensions or exhibits of the future plans will help us tremendously. Also if you have in your future plans S. Georgia Avenue punching through to Karcher Road on the west side of the parcel. The ITD project will be a year or two after our project is completed and they have suggested we do not include it in our traffic study.
