NOTICE OF HEARING
April 17, 2023
Dear Agencies:
Your agency is being notified pursuant to the Local Land Use Planning Act, Idaho Code 67-
6509, to all political subdivisions providing services within the planning jurisdiction of the
City of Caldwell, including school districts.
The following land use case is scheduled to be heard before the Caldwell Planning and
Zoning Commission on June 14, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
CASE NO. ANN23-000009: A request by The City of Caldwell to annex parcel
R3583300000 (8.49 acres), located at 3905 S Indiana Avenue, in Caldwell, to include all
adjacent rights of way along E Ustick Road and S Indiana Avenue, with a proposed
zoning of R-3 (high-density residential) which makes the zoning in conformance with the
currently adopted comprehensive plan map designation of HDR (High Density
Residential). The site is currently being used as a public park known as Brothers Park.
There is no proposed changes to the land use and no proposed additional development.
The property is located on the NEC of E Ustick Road and S Indiana Avenue in Caldwell,
Idaho
The City is seeks comments from outside agencies, including City of Caldwell internal
departments.
