Subject: Arrowrock farm development
I am a resident of Quail Ridge subdivision and a lifelong resident of the treasure valley.
This proposed development is not welcome next to our low density community. The
growth mindset that seems to be more about money than common sense is so
misguided.
Is there any consideration to the effect of allowing this kind of a dense neighborhood
would have on our resources? We have water shortages on a regular basis. What about
law enforcement? Our schools are overcrowded. Our infrastructure is in a constant state
of disrepair.
Furthermore, it is my understanding the developer was asked to pay a meager $50 per
home site and has refused. In my opinion the developer needs to pay a much steeper
fee than that. Perhaps thousands per home to address the actual cost this plan will bring
in the future.
I am opposed to allowing such a dense residential development into our area or our city
at this time,
