I own the single family residence at 2611 Carnegie St, Caldwell, ID 83607.
I would appreciate this development relocating the 4-plex units off of Ustick and not on the corner of Laster & Indiana. I
would really like to NOT have any multi-family units built in this area of Caldwell.
I know this development is going to be built, I am not in agreement with any type of multi-family units. All of this
property should be built as single family homes, just like what is already in the surrounding subdivisions.
If there must be some townhouses then so be it, and put those off the main streets not against the existing
neighborhood.
The schools and the roads are crowded. The existing infrastructure of water & sewer cannot handle anymore folks tying
into the lines. My water pressure has decreased with all the new subdivisions that have sprouted up around The
Aspens.
I strongly encouraged the City of Caldwell to stop allowing all the landscaping around any new developments, it should
all be xeriscape and drought tolerant plants. Starting now. Southern Idaho is going to run out of water for our
agriculture needs.
