Hoshaw Subdivision
Dear Caldwell Hearing Examiner,
At this time it is uncertain which elementary school the K-5 students in the Hoshaw
Subdivision will attend as the district has yet to confirm the new attendance
boundaries for the two new elementary schools to open in the fall of 2025.The
district’s primary concern for the foreseeable future is the capacity of the Vallivue
High School as new developments are approved.Currently,Vallivue High School has an
enrollment of approximately 1,300 students with a capacity for 1,800 students.
It is also worth noting that the developer of this proposed subdivision donated close to
thirteen acres of land for a future school site to help with the mitigation of growth.
