with Adam’s Ridge Storage (SUP22-000028). The original approvals expired on February 15, 2024. The application for an extension was received on February 9, 2024. Per City Code 10-03-04(7), a building permit application must be submitted within 12 months of approval of the special use permit. Alternatively, a one-time extension of six (6) months may be approved administratively. Therefore, code permits an extension of the special use permit approval until August 15,
2024, at which point, a building permit must be submitted for the project or the special use permit will expire. Following submittal of the building permit application, you will have twenty-four (24) months to obtain a
certificate of occupancy for the structure associated with the building permit. After review of your application, we have found that the request complies with the Caldwell City Ordinances, Chapter 10,
Section 10-03-04, and that: (A) There are no outstanding city code violations on the subject property;
(B) The special use permit, as previously approved, is still in the best interests of the safety, health, and general welfare of the city; (C) No prior administrative time extensions have been given for this special use permit.
(D) The extension of time request complies with City Code.
Based upon the criteria above, the request for a six (6) month time extension is approved and will expire on August 15, 2024.
