Subject: Homedale Rd and Farmway proposed development
We respectfully request an Appeal Hearing.
1 Poor notification Sign was small and did not give any information on hearing
2 Lack of Traffic Study Impact on Commercial traffic between 19 and 55 Reroutes? Impact on
Farmers? Everyday commuters that use Homedale Rd, impact of an additional 700 cars. I use Homedale
Road and these additional cars will add 15 to 30 minutes to my commute time.
3. Impact on Caldwell School District and Vallivue School District? Cost? Classrooms? Teachers? Vallivue has
commented that is at capacity on other proposed projects.
4. Environmental impact? Farmers, Water. This is designated a high nitrate area
5. Department of Water Resources. This was submitted as services provided by the City.. Water/Sewer This
area cannot accommodate 400 individual wells and Septics
6 Farmway is a major thoroughfare, Who is paying for the road improvements between 19 and 55? It
should not be taxpayers. Any necessary improvements that need to be made to accommodate 400 homes
should be at Developer expense not taxpayer.
7. Calling this low density is a push. If you remove all roads, parks, sidewalks, pool, club house, courts,
parking.. how much acreage is left? These homes should be a minimum of 1 acre. This property is surrounded
by farming, horse ranches and other homes with acreage for hobby farms. This does not meet the standards
of rural residential.
