Dear Caldwell City Council Members,
As noted in Vallivue’s initial response letter,the students living in the Lavender Crossing
deveopment would attend Skyway Elementary School.
Justin Fishburn and Gennie Fishburn have been very thoughtful of the Vallivue School
District and reached out to discuss how they might be a part of the solution as they
support the community with more housing opportunities.Fortunately,they have proven
sensitive to the needs of our educational efforts and accepted Vallivue’s proposal of a
$1,000 donation per dwelling unit for an estimated total of $272,000 to assist the district
in mitigating the impact of new growth.
As you know,developers are not mandated by law to contribute impact fees toward
schools in Idaho,which makes this donation especially noteworthy.
Along with this letter,Vallivue School District has submitted the signed Donor Agreement
Form as proof.
