I. CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION ITEM: Approve Minutes – September 13, 2023
II. ACTION ITEM: CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS INTERVIEWS.
CA-23-12: a request by Mark Subia for a certificate of appropriateness to build a 576 square foot
detached garage in the Steunenberg Residential Historic district, R-1 zone. The site is located at
1216 Blaine Street, parcel # R0129300000.
III. OLD BUSINESS
ACTION ITEM:
Recruiting new Commission Members.
DICUSSION ITEM:
IV. NEW BUSINESS
DISCUSSION ITEM:
Commission to coordinate a Steunenberg Residential Historic Walking Tour.
Commission to work on new Flyers / Mailings to the Steunenberg Residential Historic
District residents.
ACTION ITEM:
Possible donation from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Memorandum of Agreement for
cultural resources mitigation through Section 106 for a property at 3904 S Indiana
Avenue that is being effected by development on the adjacent parcel 3919 Thatcher Lane.
Discuss having meetings on 1st and 3rd Mondays instead of 2nd and 4th.

The next tentative Regular Historic Preservation Meeting is on October 23, 2023, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
in the Conference Room at the Caldwell Planning & Zoning at 621 Cleveland Blvd may be cancelled.
