Mason Creek Phases 3 & 4, Expired Pre-Plat & Const. Activities
Follow up
Flagged
Mitch & Patrick,
Robb & Ky have made me aware of your concerns and requests to continue with construction activities at
Mason Creek No. 3 & 4.I'm emailing in response to these issues.
As you're aware, the Mason Creek preliminary plat has expired. I believe Patrick is still working with Planning
and Zoning to address that issue. I'm not sure exactly what Planning and Zoning's determination will be on
Patrick's thoughts of stacking the 12 month time periods onto each other. I've been told you're next available
Council meeting for a renewal request for the Mason Creek pre-plat is November 1 5, 2021.
Typically, once a preliminary plat expires Engineering Department services (plan review, inspection, etc) would
also stop. Normally, you would be able to present your preliminary plat renewal request to Council sooner that
November 15th. However, since the October council meetings have been cancelled due to COVIDIg your
hearing date is delayed. With that understanding the Engineering Department will continue providing inspection
services until November l5th. Any construction you proceed with is wholly at your risk. Should Council not
approve your renewal request the improvements you're installing may not be accepted. It is critical that
you get your renewal application turned into the Planning andZoningDepartment ASAP (we request by the
middle of next week at the latest).
Please continue to work with Ky directly on inspection testing requests and scheduling.
If you have further questions pertaining to the construction of these two phases please let me know.
Thank you,
