OF HEARING, AND OF PUBLIC AUCTION
NOTICE lS HEREBY GTVEN that the Caldwell City Council will conduct a public hearing on
Monday, July 6, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Caldwell Police Department,
110 South sth Avenue, Caldwell, ldaho, with respect to the following:
The real property commonly known as 300 Frontage Road, Caldwell, ldaho, upon which a
separately owned building exists, has been declared by the Caldwell City Council as surplus
property and is being proposed for sale immediately after said hearing at the opening bid price
of $38,332, based on comparable property evaluations. Said property is more particularly
described as follows:

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION AUTHORZING THAT PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3OO FRONTAGE
ROAD BE DECLARED AS SURPLUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the building located at 300 Frontage Road was originally built by the
Caldwell Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of housing their agency;
AND WHEREAS, the City entered into a lease with the Chamber of Commerce in 1986
for the parcel;
AI\D WHEREAS, the building has been sold to numerous non-profit organizations over
the years and ongoing leases have been established between the City of Caldwell and the
facility owners;
AllD WHEREAS, there has been interest for the sale of the parcel for future
improvements and development of the site for commercial use;
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, that the Caldwell City Council approve the request authorizing the parcel located
at 300 Frontage Road be declared as surplus property with pertinent documentation made
a part hereof as set forth in fulI;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to set the date for the public hearing and auction
for the parcel at the Regularly Scheduled City Council Meeting to be held on Monday,
July 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Caldwell Police Department Community Room located at
I l0 South 5ft Avenue with the opening bid price of $38,332, based on comparable
property evaluations.
