Brothers park has been a fantastic place to run our program due to its central location, great facilities and
dedication as a youth park. Based upon our curlg$ Ana projected numbers above' it's apparent that our
program will outgrow some of the facilities that'irb currently in place at the park'
As a result we woutd appreciate any conslderatipn to add the following-enhancements to Brothers Park:
1. Build the originally planned building on the north side of the complex to include restrooms, storage
locations and concession stand.
2. place additional parking at the south end of the complex where it meets Ustick Road' There should

p.rktng and stlll keep the exlsting south end soccer field. lnitiallv, a
dlrt/gravel parking lot could be constructed to reduce'costs'
without the contlnued use of Brothers Park as catdwell's centralized youth soccer complgx, our non-profit
program would not be as successful as it is today. I want to thank you for your continued support of our

Dear Mr. Howell:
I understand the City of Caldwell is seeking input regarding future development opportunities for Brothers
Park. Last spring,Caldwell Optimist Youth Soccer and Vallivue Youth Soccer decided to merge their programs
(now called Canyon Optimist Soccer Club) in an effort to poolvolunteer resources and offer a higher quality,
low cost soccer program to the youth living in Caldwelland the surrounding area. Canyon Optimist Soccer
Club currentlY has -300 kids in the program with ages ranging from 4 years to 17 years old. We antlclpate
our program willgrow to -500 kids this spripg and are.prolsafls th,e;pq+lqlPatfon to increase to over 1000
kids within the next 1-2 Years.
