We recently acquired the parcel and are planning on growing Aronia berries on the 11 acres. The parcel has no city services and the services are approximately 1.5 miles away. In order for the Aronia berries crop to thrive we need to house our farming equipment and other tools in a pole barn to keep them from being damaged due to weather. Currently, we have alfalfa growing and have 2 acres of Aronia berries to be planted Spring of 2017. Because there are no services or power we are using solar to power the well for installing the sprinkler system. The solar panels require the structure of the pole barn and would be placed on the south roof deck of the barn. We do not have the financial means to begin building our home on the 11 acres at the time.
