Kearney St. in Caldwell, Idaho. In the course of our due diligence we have discovered that the existing house was constructed at 5'-0" from the property line at the East side yard. We believe that may have been the setback in force at the time. The current setback ordinance requires a 6'-0" side yard setback. We are seeking a variance that will allow us to maintain the 540" setback for the construction of the proposed addition as it will allow us to maintain the continuity of the existing construction.
