Please see the attached signatures via petition and signature of letter supporting the petition. These documents
are in request that the Planning and Zoning department deny the petition to make additional plots out of the
existing plots and allow only one residence per plot for this development. We believe that the current lot sizes
of the residences around these plots should be considered when developing further, and the plot sizes as they
stand currently would be supportive of that endeavor.

Petition to Limit Oregon Commons to Three Plots
Petition The developers of the former horse pasture at the end of Oregon Avenue are
summary and attempting to change the three plots of the pasture into smaller plots,totaling 9
background residential plots and a common plot.This will heavily increase the saturation of
homes in the neighborhood, reduce the average plot and house size, and thereby
decrease homeowner value in the area.
Action We, the undersigned, are concerned homeowners who urge the Planning and
petitioned for Zoning Department to require that the parcels R35423000, R35404000 and
R35401000 be maintained as-is and allow for only three residential homes to be
placed on these lots.

We are asking for your support in protesting the further subdivision of the lot at the end of
Oregon Avenue (formerly a horse pasture).
The proposed building plans would double the number of homes on a quiet dead-end street,
greatly increasing traffic and noise. The lot sizes proposed are significantly smaller than the
average lot size currently in the neighborhood. The houses are also smaller than the average
house in the neighborhood. Due to the tiny lot sizes, the proposed houses are all two-story
homes, which is out of keeping with the neighborhood.
Smaller homes on tiny lots would decrease the average value of homes in the area, devaluing
the investment each of us has made in the neighborhood.
Quality of life is harder to put a number on, but I know that our family moved to the
neighborhood to escape the type of modern subdivision the builder is proposing, where we
could look out our kitchen window and watch our neighbors preparing dinner in their own
kitchen. We have loved living here for the past 5 years, starting our family and raising our
daughters in this community. We appreciate the space, quiet, and privacy currently afforded by
this neighborhood.
We made it known to the previous owner that if he ever wanted to sell that we were interested in
buying the lot. We have since repeatedly offered to buy the property from the developer and the
agent refuses to even tell us who owns the property now. Our interest would have been to keep
the lot open green space, which we know many of our neighbors would've appreciated.
The lot is currently divided into 3 plats. We are asking the planning commission to refuse further
subdivision of the area as 3 homes would be in keeping with the neighborhood we have all
invested in. We are asking that you consider signing this petition in favor of such a request.
