newly designated entitlement
community, has been invited
to participate in the Commu-
nity Development Block Grant
(COBG) program as adminis-
tered by the United Slates
Department of Housing and
Urban · Development (HUD).
The over-arching goal of the
CDBG program is lo develop
viable urban communities by
providing decenl housing, a
suitable living environment
and expanding economic op-
portunities, especially for low
and moderate income per-
sons.
There will be a presentation
to the Planning and Zoning
Commission and an opportu•
nity for public comment. The
draft 5-year consolidated plan
and proposed aclivil es wm
be discussed.
The public is welcome to at•
tend lhis meeting.
An opportunity will also be
provided for written public
comment.

Idaho Press-Tribune, a daily newspaper
published in the City of Nampa, in the
County of Canyon, State of Idaho; that
the said newspaper is in general
circulation in the said County of
Canyon, and in the vicinity of Nampa
and Caldwell, and has been
uninterruptedly published in said
County during a period of seventy-eight
consecutive weeks prior to the first

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
Consolidated Plan and 151 Year Action Plan
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Caldwell City Council will conduct a public hearing on
Monday, August 1, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Caldwell Police
Department, 110 South 5th A venue, Caldwell, Idaho, with respect to the following:
The Community Development Block Grant (COBO) Consolidated Plan and 1st Year Action Plan
have been available for public comment during the period of July 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. through
August 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to review such public comments
received during this designated period as well as hear additional public testimony concerning the
subject documents. The public is welcome to attend this meeting and provide public testimony.
The City of Caldwell, as a newly designated entitlement community, has been invited to participate
in the Community Development Block Grant (COBO) program as administered by the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The over-arching goal of the
COBO program is to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing, a suitable
living environment and expanding economic opportunities, especially for low and moderate
income persons.
Files and exhibits relative to this matter are on file at the Caldwell City Clerk's Office located at
411 Blaine Street. Files are available for review during the hours of8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday. For any further information, please call 455-4656. A person who is visually
and/or hearing impaired, or needs an interpreter should contact the City prior to the meeting.
