Consolidated Plan and V Year Action Plan
The City of Caldwell, as a newly designated entitlement community, has been
invited to participate in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program
as administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD). The over- arching goal of the CDBG program is to develop
viable urban communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living
environment and expanding economic opportunities, especially for low and
moderate income persons.
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Plan and I" Year
Action Plan are available for public comment during the period of July 1, 2016 at
3:00 p.m. through August 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.

We have scheduled the public hearing on the Consolidated Plan before the Planning & Zoning Commission on Tuesday,
July 12'h at 6:00 p.m. We have to publish a public notice in the 1PT that the plan is available in my office for public review
and inspection. We also need to prepare and distribute copies of the plan to the P&Z Commission. Please submit the
plan by Friday, July 24'h.

The City of Caldwell, as a newly designated entitlement community, has been invited to participate in
the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program as administered by the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The over- arching goal of the CDBG
program is to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living
environment and expanding economic opportunities, especially for low and moderate income

Copies of the plan will be made available for public viewing and comment at the following locations:

Available for download from the city website: www.eijyofcaldwell.com
The Plan will be available for review and comment from
July 1, 2016 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until August 1, 2016 ending at 3:00 p.m.
An opportunity will be provided at each location for written public comment.
