Attached please find a letter supporting denial of rezone for the Tom Needham rezone case. The letter is
intended to be on behalf of the LLC (comprised of seven family members) and also my brother Geoffrey M.
Nishitani, individually. We are collectively owners of the approximately 13 Q) parcels in that area.
As we are close to the 10/6 hearing date, please confirm your receipt of this e-mail and letter. I will also fax a

On behalf of the several family owners Of Prop" in -and -around Centennial Way,
and Elgin, we wish to provide thus letter as written testimony in support of a denial above
W. Freeport, of the Freeport,
referenced request to allow rezone and/or special use as an automobile/vehicle storage yard at 109
We support the use of Centennial Way, as the gateway entrance into the City and specifically
agree with the recommendations for denial as outlined in the City Council Staff Report, dated
August 25, 2008, prepared by the City's Senior Planner (Sections 8.1 to 8.5).

We are a neighboring property owner for the above reference case. I would appreciate a copy of the P&Z case
file on this matter. Please also let me know how best to submit written testimony and applicable deadlines. My
brother, Geoffrey M. Nishitani, attended the meeting yesterday, and believed the next hearing date to be
October 6, 2008. If there is a copy or administrative charge related to my information request, please let me
know.
