Subject: Case No. APP-009 Jerry Galaway
To Caldwell City Council
Planning & Zoning Dept.
Anne Marie Skinner & Who ever this concerns,
I Jake P. Nash would like to comment on case no. APP-01009. I own Lot #8 In Delawear Subdivision
in Caldwell next to Lot #7 which is owened by Jerry Galaway.
I have a bad hearing so I won't be at the meeting is why I am writing my concern.
My #1 concern is fire, His shed which he just put in a few weeks ago is only 61/2 feet from my shed
which has been here for almost three years. If one of our sheds caught on fire we would lose both houses
& sheds. Jerry know he had to be five feet away from property line because he ask me why mine was
five feet and I told him it was the law cause I check with the city before I built mine.
The # 2 reason is I asked to build another small shed for my lawn mower. I was told I had to have it ten
feet from any buildings and five feet from property Iine. Then Jerry had his built close to the property
line. I believe everyone should have to go by the same Zoning laws.
Most of our neighbores don't want to say anything , because they plan on doing like Jerry if he gets his
way.
Sincerely Jake P. Nash
